Brahim Diaz wants to stay at Milan. The Spaniard has already spent two seasons at the San Siro and now, after their Serie A title, he wants to enjoy the second year in a row in the Champions League and the honour of being the reigning Italian Serie A champions.
The 'Rossoneri' also have the same intention, but before confirming it, both parties must meet with Real Madrid. And that meeting, according to 'MilanNews', will take place in the next few days.
It looks like Brahim will remain on loan at Milan for another year. After a first loan two seasons ago, last summer they reached an agreement for the Spaniard to play in the Lombard capital on loan for two more seasons.
However, Real Madrid have the option to buy him back in the summer transfer window. 'Los Blancos' have included a clause whereby they could break the loan before the second season. But in order to do so, not only the club's intention is not enough, but the player must also agree to it. And according to the aforementioned source, Brahim is only thinking of continuing with the 'Rossoneri' on.
If he continues, Milan could sign him for 22 million euros in the summer of 2023. In turn, Real Madrid could exercise their right to buy him back for 27 million euros.
This season, Brahim started off on fire. With the '10' on his back, he scored four goals in his first seven games, but injuries and the coronavirus weakened his consistency. For this reason, he wants to vindicate himself in a third year at Milan.
