The Dutch Newspaper suggests that there could already have been a first meeting between Real Madrid and Ajax, with Odegaard being the reason for it.
Ajax want the Norweigan youngster and will make a serious offer for him. 'De Telegraaf' even dared to put a price on the potential transfer: 20 million euros.
According to said newspaper, Real Madrid would be willing to let Odegaard go. Ajax, for their part, would now be willing to pay this price that at first hadn't convinced them to make a move for Odegaard.
The Norweigan has been in Ajax's plans for a while. The Champions League semi-finalists are clear that they want him in their squad and are continuing to work to cut a deal for him.
At Real Madrid, however, they must decide what to do with him. "I will speak with the team and we will make a decision", said the player himself regarding a potential move away.
It remains to be seen if, like they are suggesting in Holland, Ajax and Real Madrid will be able to reach an agreement. Odegaard, meanwhile, will for now stay at Vitesse - the club which is he currently loaned to until the end of the season.
