Real Betis chief reveals plans to make Antony's loan move permanent

Real Betis sporting director Manu Fajardo spoke highly of Antony's contributions to the team, acknowledging the collective effort that led to his successful arrival at the club.
"It's a source of satisfaction on a personal level, but it's the result of teamwork," he said in an interview with Mundo Deportivo. "Although I'm responsible for the sporting direction, there are many people involved in this signing. It's still early days, but we'll try in different ways to do everything possible to continue enjoying him."
Antony has been a revelation since joining Betis, playing a key role in their eight victories across all competitions. His return to form, with four goals and two assists in 13 appearances, has been instrumental in lifting the team to sixth place in La Liga and advancing to the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals.
With his future at Manchester United looking increasingly uncertain, his time at Betis has sparked growing interest in a permanent transfer.
