The 20-year-old Manchester United forward converted from close range to give England a 1-0 victory at the King Power stadium.
"You've got to dig in and get through the game," said Rashford.
"As always, it's good to win. I think it's good to travel round and good to get the fans out to different stadiums and we always enjoy playing in different stadiums."
If England had lost, it would have their fourth consecutive defeat - an all-time record. However, luckily Rashford was on hand to help his side avoid such a fate.
