Rashford turns down lucrative Saudi offer, awaits Barca move

Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has rejected a major offer from Saudi Arabia valued at around 40 million euros, according to sources close to the player.
The 27-year-old Englishman is not part of the Old Trafford club's plans and is looking to resolve his future as soon as possible.
Rashford's priority is to sign for FC Barcelona, who see him as a clear alternative to Luis Diaz in their planning for next season. Despite interest from a number of top teams, the striker has made it clear that his dream is to wear the Barça shirt.
To facilitate his arrival at Barca, Rashford would be willing to reduce his salary, aware of the limitations of the financial fair play imposed by LaLiga.
The Catalan club are considering a possible loan deal with an option to buy, estimated at between 30 and 40 million euros, to bring in the player.
Rashford wants to join Barca's pre-season training camp, which starts this Monday under the orders of Hansi Flick, as soon as possible. The striker believes that an early adaptation would be key to performing at the highest level from the start of the campaign.
In the meantime, Barca are not in such a hurry to close the deal, as the fair play situation continues to condition the transfer planning.
