Romelu Lukaku has locked down the central striker position after a blistering start to life at Old Trafford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has made the No 10 spot his own and Jose Mourinho is favouring Juan Mata on the right.
That leaves one spot on the left flank that Rashford and Martial are locking horns over. So who gets the nod?
Based on statistics it's got to be Martial. In his 370 minutes played this term, he has scored and assisted five for the Red Devils. Rashford, on the other hand, has scored the same amount but assisted one less in 613 minutes of game time.
Many have called for Mourinho to play both at the same time, but for the Portuguese tactician, however, it's all about making the system work. Given that Antonio Valencia bombs up and down the right flank, Mata is an integral part of the United balance, as he is a player who drifts inside and creates space.
The same cannot be said for the left flank as Daley Blind is a more reserved full-back, meaning width is needed from the man on the wing.
Mourinho is also right to be cautious. The last time both Rashford and Martial lined up together, United were hammered 3-1 by Watford, whose goals all came from wide areas.
