On 12th May, there will be another 'Old Firm' clash, but it will not be like any other. Celtic, who are already the champions, will visit Ibrox and whoever thinks they will get a guard of honour from Rangers is mistaken.
According to the 'Daily Record', the possibility of doing it was mentioned in the Rangers dressing room and it was put to a vote. The majority verdict was 'no' and so there will be no guard of honour.
Celtic won their eighth consecutive SPL title to reach a total of 50 last weekend. They beat Aberdeen in the third round of the games after the split and are nine points clear of Rangers, the only who could catch them, with just six points left to play for.
