Few would have said it a few years ago, but yes, Sergio Ramos, as a PSG player, has intervened to try to put an end to a fight between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. It happened, according to 'Le Parisien', after the win against Montpellier, in which the Frenchman was seen in a bad mood to the point of making a gesture to Leo Messi that angered him.
To resolve the conflict, Luis Campos arranged a meeting with the Frenchman and the Brazilian, to whom he imposed certain conditions to improve the climate in the dressing room. That is precisely where Ramos arranged for them to meet to talk and resolve the dispute. For the moment, it doesn't seem that he has managed to solve it, as the soap opera is still going on.
The former Real Madrid player has been a key player at the start of the season for the Parisians, so it makes sense that he wants to take charge and help ensure good relations between the stars of the squad. He started against Nantes, Clermont and Montpellier. He scored against the first of these three teams and was particularly impressive against the third.
With the transfer window still open and two weeks to go, it may well be that the consequence of all this mess is that Neymar will leave PSG. He has been rumoured to do so in the past and, in fact, that is the source of his dispute with Mbappe, who gave the go-ahead for him to leave despite the fact that they have been friends for years.
