After his publicised departure from Real Madrid and telling his teammates that he intended to go to Ligue 1, 'Goal' indicate that he is communicating with the French side's representatives over the phone. They are progressing with his possible signing.
At the moment, there is yet to be a formal proposal, although this could be completed soon. Both parties have arranged to continue conversations in the next few days. Ramos also wants to carry on playing Champions League football. Such ambitions were made clear in the player's press conference saying goodbye to the Santiago Bernabeu. He assured that he intended to play for the Spanish national team once again, all of which points towards him wanting to carry on playing at the highest level.
'Goal' assuered that Sergio Ramos has peaked the interest of two English clubs and an Italian. It's already been revealed that City and United are following him, meaning it's likely that they are the two English sides.
