Speculation has intensified recently linking Ivan Rakitic with a move to Inter Milan, with reports this week suggesting that he is set to make a 50 million euro move to Italy. Further fuel was added to the fire after an interview with his brother was published on Friday.
Dejan Rakitic did not help to quell any exit gossip in his interview with 'Tuttomercato', as he suggested his brother doesn't know where his future lies after Barcelona's Champions League humbling at Anfield.
However, Ivan himself has used a screenshot of this very interview to send a strong message to the press through his Instagram story.
"Let's see if you want to stop making things up, I'd appreciate it. I'm just concentrating on Barcelona and on staying here for many years and winning the double. Besides, my agent's name is Arturo Canales. Thank you", was his message.
It now seems clear that the Croat is not intending to leave the club, and will be around to start his sixth season at Barcelona after summer, having made 265 appearances in that time.
