After the avalanche of tests carried out amongst Primera and Segunda División clubs, now comes the time to evaluate the results. And, in the absence of all the reports and a recount from La Liga, according to 'RAC1' there have been 5 positives amongst players, coaches, and the rest of the staff involved in the return to work.
This same information, which specifies that it speaks of partial results, distributes the results between the 3 registered in Primera Divisióm teams and the 2 in Segunda.
Each one of the cases is reportedly in different teams, at the same time not specifying if they are players. It is clear that Barcelona didn't have any, as they returned to training on Friday.
La Liga predicted to find between 25-30 coronavirus cases in the mass tests carried out during these days so, in the absence of scrutiny of all the results, this forecast would be significantly improved.
At the expense of official confirmation, clubs will have to isolate those affected and they will have to carry out a 14-day quarantine, as per the protocol, before joining up with their teams again, if the following COVID-19 test is negative.
However, we are speaking about a low figure and it will not prevent individual training from happening from this weekend in the majority of teams, with a maximum of 6 players on the same training pitch.
All of this will be vital ahead of La Liga being able to resume on the dates that the organisation are now managing: the league would resume on 20th June to end on 26th July.
