'RAC1': Barca remain firm and Suarez will not play against Nastic

The Ronald Koeman era begins this Saturday versus Nastic de Tarragona (19:00 CET). It will be Barca's first pre-season game and, according to 'RAC1', there will be no Luis Suarez.
In the last few hours, given Luis Suarez's reluctance to leave, Ronald Koeman started to consider keeping Suarez. The coach would be ok for him to continue despite everything that has happened. The club, as a result of his financial demands, felt they had no option.
However, Barca will try and press until the end. Given what was said on the 'RAC1' radio programme 'Tu diràs'. the club have decided that Luis Suarez will not take part in the Nastic game as a way of putting pressure on him.
It seemed like Barca were starting to make a U-turn after initially telling the Uruguayan that they did not count on him. The difficulties they have had trying to sell him is making everything difficult.
Despite that, Barca believe they have more than enough reasons for Suarez not to see out the final year of his contract. That is why they have asked Koeman not to play him in pre-season.
If this news is confirmed, Barca's stance will be even firmer. A way of making the striker join Juventus, who were more interested in him. They are waiting for the player to sit an Italian test which will allow him to have dual nationality and not take up a non-EU spot in Serie A.
