Barcelona's bad start of the season has all eyes on Ronald Koeman. The Dutchman's future at the club is still uncertain and every day there are stronger opinions about what Barcelona's board should do.
Barcelona's president, Joan Laporta, wants to support the team during these 'though times' and not think about Koeman leaving however, it would be naive not to start thinking about likely replacements.
There are currently many options been considered for the job, such as Conte, Andrea Pirlo, Bielsa, Erik ten Hag...However, according to 'RAC1', Xavi is not on that shortlist.
According to the site, Xavi Hernandez is not in between the main options to coach Barcelona, even though he said on many occasions he was ready for the job.
"It is my dream to go back, but I am not in a hurry, even though I'm ready", claimed Xavi a couple of months ago.
The 2010 world champion was seriously considered before Koeman's arrival, but he is not an option right now. Barcelona wanted Xavi to start from scratch and not to try to save an already started bad season. Jordi Cruff is not an option either as he respects Koeman and doesn't want to take his job.
