Pulisic, first American to play in Champions League final

History was made at the Estadio do Dragao stadium during the Champions League final. 

In this case, it was Christian Pulisic who made history. The Chelsea player came on in the 66th minute when he came on for Werner. 

The footballer became the first American footballer to play in the Champions League final. 

It is worth pointing out that Zak Steffen of Man City had a chance to break the record before him, but as he is the third choice keeper, it always seemed unlikely. 

Pulisic could have easily got on the scoresheet in the 72nd minute, but his shot was tipped wide by goalkeeper Ederson.
