PSV to go after Luuk de Jong if Barca do not keep him

Barcelona are planning for the 2022-23 season and there are players in doubt. Luuk de Jong will have to return to the Sanchez-Pizjuan as his loan deal expires in June. The Catalan side, that side, have the option of buying him from Sevilla. 'Mundo Deportivo' does not rule out the fact that, as the attacker has performed well and been important for Xavi this season. 

In any case, Barca will have to balance the books before taking any movement for granted. The club's delicate financial situation will mark the club's movements this summer. 

If Barca do not use up the option to buy him, PSV are willing to do so. The Dutch media outlet 'Eindhovens Dagblad' says that the team in which he played for between 2014 and 2019 want him back. 

The cited source does not say how much money PSV would be willing to put on the table although they say there is interest. It was precisely Sevilla who bought him from PSV three years ago for around 12.5 million. Now, the reverse could happen. 

Barca are thinking of what to do. It has not been revealed how much Barca could get him for, but 'Mundo Deportivo' says that the amount would not be too much. 

In the meantime, Luuk de Jong is clear what he wants. "Sevilla? I would rather stay at Barca, it would be fantastic," he said just a month.
