PSG to allow fans for summer friendlies
PSG are working with their mind set on the finals, the French Cup and Coupe de la Ligue, in which they will face Saint-Étienne (24th July) and Lyon (31st July). But to prepare for them, they have arranged two friendly matches which will be played with fans in the stand.
Shamrock Rovers and Celtic will be their opponents. The matches, set for the 17th and 19th July at 19:00. They will be the ultimate test before the cup finals and will serve to see how football works with a limited attendance.
The friendly match that the Parisians will play at the Stade de l'Océane against Le Havre will also be restricted to 5000 fans. The idea is that the cup finals will also be played with this amount of fans in the stand.
However, the match against Shamrock Rovers is up in the air. The Irish government still have a ban on all non-esential travel until 20th July.
If the Irish club travelled to France, they would have to quarantine for 15 days when they return, as 'AS recalls.
