Paris-Saint Germain confirmed the hip injury of Edinson Cavani. The medical staff of the French club stated that the Uruguayan forward will be out for at least 3 weeks.

"Edinson Cavani had an MRI scan on Monday and an injury to his right hip was picked up. The recovery time will be confirmed in the next few days, but he is expected to be out of action for at least 3 weeks," the club informed through their official channels.

He didn't even make it through the first quarter of an hour against Toulouse, as the Uruguayan striker had to leave the pitch at Prince's Park after a bad, strong blow. The striker was injured in an action where went in for the ball and his foot made a strange gesture when he hit the leg of a Toulouse defender.

However, the bad news didn't stop here with Cavani. Minutes later, Kylian Mbappe also left the pitch injured and will be out of action for four weeks. The French striker will spend a month recovering after he pulled something in his lower, right thigh.

It was the 64th minute when he suffered the injury. It was a long race, Mbappé looked for the ball into a space and reached the bottom line, making an overexertion that eventually caused the ailment.
