Neymar's future is well and truly up in the air, with nobody knowing quite how this saga will end. The player wants to leave PSG, whilst sporting director Leonard has also opened the door to his exit.
Even so, PSG will not be letting their world-record signing go on the cheap, and Barcelona may not be able to afford their steep asking prize. Neymar will rejoin PSG training soon, and it remains to be seen whether he will publicly announce his desire to move on this summer.
Whilst Neymar continues to be linked with a move away, PSG are wasting no time in scouring the market for his replacement. According to 'France Football', they have chosen Lille winger Nicolas Pepe as the ideal candidate.
The 24 year-old enjoyed a standout season at Lille last season, scoring 23 goals and providing 12 assists and catching the eye of some of Europe's top teams, prompting his current club to slap an 80 million Euro price tag on him.
Pepe, who is currently playing at the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast, would be happy to make the step up to the French champions. However, his signing could force Tuchel to change his system, as Neymar prefers to play on the left whilst Pepe usually operates on the right wing.
