According to 'L'Equipe', the PSG official didn't want the authorities to protect the Real Madrid coach during its journey between the team's hotel and the Parc des Princes.
The French newspaper stated that the French side were looking to cause as much inconvenience as possible for the Madrid side, ahead of the side's Champions League second leg against PSG.
It seems the request came from PSG on the Tuesday of the game, just a few hours before kick-off.
As expected, the request was denied, and Real Madrid received an escort to the game, as is protocol for teams that travel to face PSG at their Paris stadium.
