PSG add three more awards to trophy cabinet

As expected, Paris Saint-Germain claimed a number of the top prizes at the UNFP awards ceremony.

After lifting their seventh Ligue 1 title, PSG were deservedly rewarded by their fellow professionals on Sunday night.

Kylian Mbappé, who has scored 13 league goals in his debut season in the French capital, was awarded the prize for the 'Young Player of the Year' for the second year running.

Whilst manager Unai Emery has been criticised for his shortcomings in the Champions League, the Spaniard lead the side to a commendable domestic treble. Emery deservedly picked up the 'Manager of the Year' prize.

'Player of the Year', which has been awarded to a PSG player in four of the last five years, was once again claimed by a Parisian. After joining from Barcelona for a jaw-dropping €222million last summer, Neymar became an instant fan favourite in the capital, showing his class week in week out. The Brazilian scored 19 goals in 20 Ligue 1 games before suffering a broken foot. PSG's No. 10 claimed the most prestigious prize of the night

PSG also saw seven of their stars claim places in the Team of the Year: Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, Marco Verratti, Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappé
