Details over the prize money for the new Spanish Super Cup which will feature four teams and be played in January have been released. Although it will all become official once the host country has been announced, the RFEF have now many some initial estimations.

According to 'Goal', the winner of the tournament could earn up to three million euros.

The first calculations suggest that each semi-finalist wil earn 800,000 euros. The runner-up will earn an extra 1.2 million euros and an extra two million for the winner.

This source also say that the four team competition will take place in Saudi Arabia. However, it is not 100% confirmed and it may change.

If a better offer comes along, the amounts the clubs get would increase although they would not vary greatly from this first estimation.
