Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 victory over relegation threatened Fulham. Two first half goals from Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva gave the Manchester side a comfortable victory. If Liverpool get any sort of result against Tottenham then they will return to the top of the league however, whilst Fulham remain on 17 points and almost guaranteed to go down with Huddersfield.
Huddersfield were also beaten 2-0 by London side Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, with goals from Luka Milivojevic and Patrick Van Aanholt lifting Palace up to 13th in the league, on 36 points, guiding them away from safety. Huddersfield joined Derby as two of the teams with the worst records ever in the Premier League, being the two teams to get relegated before the end of March.
Southampton continued their resurgence under new boss Hassenhuntl with a 0-1 victory at the Amex stadium, defeating Brighton. The goal scored by Pierre Emile Hojberg. Both sides are on 33 points, but the 'Saints' occupy 16th spot, with Brighton in 15th due to better goal difference.
Burnley also have 33 points after defeating FA Cup Semi-Finalists, Wolverhampton Wanderers, 2-0 at Turf Moor. Goals came from Connor Coady, into his own net and McNeil. Burnley lie in 17th with Wolves still sitting in 7th despite the defeat, however are only a point of fellow Europa League chasing side Leicester, with Everton, Watford and West Ham also chasing the final European spot.
Leicester also won 2-0, defeating Bournemouth with goals from Wes Morgan and Jamie Vardy in the 11th and 82nd minutes respectively. Guiding the Foxes up to 8th with Bournemouth still languishing in 12th.
Manchester United defeated Watford 2-1 with goals by Rashford, Martial and Doucoure.Lifting United into 4th, on 61 points, with Arsenal playing on Monday night and Chelsea and Tottenham both playing tomorrow as the battle for top 4 continues. Watford remain in 9th.
