The Premier League has released a statement reporting 16 positive coronavirus test results in its latest round of testing.
More than 1000 people were tested and anyone who tested positive will isolate for 10 days, in line with UK health guidance.
This recent round represents the most positive tests yet with the fewest number of people tested. Last time (2-8 Nov.), 1 646 tests were carried out with just four positive results.
It adds to fears from high profile managers such as Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp about the dangers of the recent international break.
The full statement is as follows:
"The Premier League can today confirm that between Monday 9 November and Sunday 15 November, 1,207 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19. Of these, there were 16 new positive tests."
