The Premier League, together with the FA, have issued a statement this Wednesday saying that there are no "quick answers" on when football will return due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a joint statement by the Premier League, EFL, FA and the Football Supporters Association, these institutions have explained that they are committed to football returning, but only when it is safe to do so.
"We are all committed to getting back to playing the game we love - but only when it is safe to do so. Amid the current uncertainty, supporters will understandably have a number of questions relating to the season and the clubs they follow, and there are no quick answers to how and when we will return to what used to be our football normality," the statement began.
They also say that the clubs and the fans have "a vital role to play" in supporting the Government's recommendations. "Stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives.
The Premier League was suspended a few weeks back when Mikel Arteta tested postive for corona. It is currently suspended until 30th April although returing then seems practically impossible.
