Frenkie de Jong's future is uncertain. Last summer, he decided to stay at the Camp Nou despite having several clubs after him.
But De Jong has not been able to find his place in the team as he is not playing regularly under Xavi. Therefore, there is talk of him leaving in January.
Man Utd, who just missed out on him a couple of months ago, are still reportedly interested in the Dutchman. According to 'ESPN', they are not the only ones. Liverpool and Chelsea have also reportedly got his name on their radars.
The three big clubs in England are looking for midfielders and they could make an offer to Barcelona for De Jong. And the Catalans might have to listen it.
'ESPN' reports that if Barca fail to progress from their Champions League group, they could look to get some extra money in January. Letting the midfielder go would be an option.
De Jong's future, however, has not been decided, far from it. Barca are looking for a successor to Busquets and, if they cannot find one to their liking, the Dutchman has Xavi's approval to be the one to take over.
