Potter: "I'm not going to judge anyone on what happened in the past"

Chelsea got off to a poor start in the Premier League and the Champions League, suffering a heavy defeat to Dinamo Zagreb and a 1-1 draw with Salzburg. As a result, Thomas Tuchel was sacked from the club.

His place was taken by Graham Potter, who has arrived at Stamford Bridge with great enthusiasm. The new coach was asked about a player with few opportunities like Christian Pulisic, to whom he did not hesitate to offer him his hand for this season.

"He's been very positive. He's an intelligent guy. My conversation with him has been good, positive. I'm not going to judge anyone by what happened in the past. I make my own decision. Football will hopefully decide," he said of the American.

He also had words for star signing Aubameyang: "He's a good guy, focused, wants to play, wants to score. I'm looking forward to working with him. He has nothing to prove to me and nothing negative in that sense. He has acted like a great professional and person."
