The Brazilian defender has been linked with a move to Atlético for some time, but for now he remains a Porto player. Atleti's interest seemed to have cooled, but now it's being suggested that Diego Simeone's side will go back in for him, forcing Porto into action.
Porto's idea, according to 'A Bola', is to raise his 40 million Euro release clause and give Atlético virtually no option of signing him.
'AS' give more information on the matter, reporting that Porto wouldn't want to lose the left-back for just 40 million Euros, especially if they miss out on all the financial benefits that come with qualification for the Champions League by losing their upcoming qualifier.
The Spanish press continue by reporting that 'Los Colchoneros' are indeed interested in Telles, but that any formal offer is yet to materialise.
