Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas has denied claims he is retiring from football.
The ex-Real Madrid player suffered a heart attack in training on 1st May. 'O Jogo' had reported that he was going to announce his retirement from football. Casillas, however, denies that is the case.
The Spanish goalkeeper has taken to Twitter to reject this news. "Good afternoon, everyone: I will have to retire some day. Please let me announce this news when that moment arrives. For now, I ask for calm. Yesterday, I had a check up with Dr Filipe Macedo and everything is going very well. That is great news which I wanted to share with you all!"

In other words, he may well retire, but any announcement would come at a later date, presumibly once he has had more time to recover and to reflect on the situation. The good news is that his recovery seems to be going very well.
