According to 'Tuttosport', Pogba has now stated what he wants, through his agent Mino Raiola, in order to renew his contract. He would accept a contract renewal, but only when he is paid more than 34 million euros.
This astronomical figure is what the Frenchman is demanding if Man United want to keep him. The 'red devils' are won of the richest clubs in the world, but it would be difficult for them to offer such a high wage.
Pogba is currently earning 17 million. In fact, the potential 34 million would surpass Ronaldo's 30 million wage for Juventus. As such, Pogba would be the third-highest earner in world football behind Neymar and Messi.
The aforementioned source affirms that Pogba's contract has a one-year extension clause that United can activate before it expires in 2021.
Despite all of this, the information could be another sign that Pogba is forcing an exit from the club after reports in England recently said that "he is more desperate than never to leave".
