The Juventus central midfielder has been recently linked with Barcelona, who are looking for a replacement for Andres Iniesta following his departure from the club.
It all started on Instagram, the same platform through which the player firmly denied the rumours. Pjanic liked a post that linked him with the club, but he has since dismissed the significance of this action.
"Wow, all of this over a like... at least read what was written. It's fake news" Pjanic wrote.
The newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' affirmed that Pjanic had become a part of Barcelona's plans after the decision of Antoine Griezmann to stay at Atletico Madrid.
But the player wanted to personally deny any links, and that he will continue to play for 'the Old Lady'.
