Andrea Pirlo has destroyed a tradition of 123 years at Juventus. For the first time, the Turin side didn't have an Italian goalkeeper or defender. Against Ferencvaros, Juve lined up with Cuadrado, Danilo, de Ligt and Alex Sandro in defence, with Szczesny between the sticks.

Juventus worked more than expected to beat Ferencvaros in matchday 4 of the Champions League group stages. Morata appeared at the last minute to save the Italians after Ronaldo levelled the contest before the break.

In the end, a very hard worked 2-1 win and a more than striking piece of data that 'Tuttosport' highlighted on Wednesday. Andrea Pirlo put out an XI that had never been seen in the 123 years of Juventus.

For the first time, the Turin side didn't have an Italian goalkeeper or defender. Juan Cuadrado (Colombian), Danilo (Brazilian), Matthijs de Ligt (Dutch) and Alex Sandro (Brazilian) were at the back, and Wojciech Szczesny (Polish) was in goals.

Juventus did have an Italian in their XI against the Hungarians, Federico Bernardeschi, but the Italy international was in midfield.
