The cited media outlet says that the Barca defender will once again have painkillers this Friday after the late afternoon training session at La Cartuja stadium in Sevilla. He will once again have it 24 hours before the game.
Despite having the injections, it is not good news for the defender because having to resort to this because his knee is obviously not 100%.
Injuries are preventing the 34 year-old defender from getting much game time this term. He has played in 15 competitive matches this season and scored a couple of goals. He has not played since 3rd March in the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg versus Sevilla.
