The decision has been announced by the most authoritative voice of referees: Sanchez Arminio, president of the Referees Committee.
Arminio, who was chased down by cameras from Spanish television channel, 'La Sexta', was asked if measures would be taken against the Barca defender surrounding accusations the player made about La Liga president, Javier Tebas.
The head of referees confirmed that the case will be studied and reviewed by the Committee.
Therefore, Pique will have to face another charge from the Technical Commitee of Referees. The accusation could be aggravated by Pique's controversial comments made days after Barcelona's Copa del Rey clash with Athletic Bilbao, when he directly criticised the refereeing of Fernandez Borbalan.
