Pique and Lewandowski's suspensions will be announced on Friday

The World Cup is just around the corner and La Liga will take a break but not before releasing the corresponding disciplinary sanctions for matchdays 13 and 14.

There are two that are attracting the most interest: Lewandowski and Pique. Both players were sent off in the match against Osasuna and they could be banned for more than one match.

According to Ramon Fuentes on 'Mundo Deportivo', the Spanish FA's Competition Committee will meet and the suspensions for Robert Lewandowski and Gerard Pique will be announced on Friday. The Polish player, in addition to the red card, faces the possibility of three more matches for the gestures he made on his way to the dressing room.

Pique will also receive a suspension. Firstly, he will be punished for his sending off, as well as his posterior comments to the referee. It will be a suspension that could go up to six matches, although he will not play those matches. However, Barca will have to pay the fine.
