Arsene Wenger announced the other day that he wants to remain manager for at least four more years. hwoever, he didn't state whether his future will be at Arsenal or another club. His current contract expires at the end of this season and a lot of fans want to see him leave, especially after their side's humiliating Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola backs the Frenchman and insists that critics are a lack of respect, as the 67-year-old has been doing his job at Arsenal for over 20 years now and should be more respected.
"You have to take a decision before [the game], to the best solution. It was what I did. If you don't agree, you can write it.
"What I hear in the last 10 days, about how people, ex-players, journalists, treat Arsene Wenger is unacceptable.
"Our job, in that moment, doesn't have any respect for any position, so it is not respectable, what happened. That is why we take the decisions and you can say whatever you want."
