"As a member of the board of City Football Group, it surprised me a lot to read about this nonsense. The rumours are totally ridiculous", the Italian lawyer confirmed in an interview for SkySports.
He continued by saying, "I want to clarify what has been reported in the last few days and confirm what Guardiola said last week during the press conference.
"He wants to stay at Manchester City. Besides, a club like Juventus would not have allowed such a news to come out like this. Man City could not have been left out without knowing and being advised."
Perhaps more credible rumours had suggested that Guardiola is currently on holiday, and business, in Abu Dhabi in order to potentially meet with City's owner about a possible renewal.
His current contract runs until the end of the 2020-21 season and Galassi has confirmed that the legendary coach wants to stay on at City beyond that date.
"This rumour is unfounded. It is unbelievable that the media pursue these kind of rumours. This is ridiculous. Guardiola wants to stay.
"He is a great professional and he can't believe his words are not listened to. He does not want to leave. Therefore, the problem does not exist because the whole matter does not exist."
Meanwhile, Galassi took the opportunity to reveal his conversation with the Juventus sports director: "I spoke to Nedved, who has been a friend for many years. We laughed a little, we realised that the rumour had become ridiculous.
The Italian lawyer's response comes hours after the Italian news agency 'AGI' stated that there is agreement between Juventus and Guardiola, and had suggested a fixed date for his presentation as the 14th June.
However, the director of 'Corriere dello Sport' claims to have spoken with Guardiola and Allegri to clarify the situation. The journalist maintains that the Catalan has denied the rumour, while the Italian believes that his replacement will be Maurizio Sarri.
