Manchester City have decided to adopt a very clear stance against Kun Aguero's wish to leave. The team, after the striker's great performance against Aston Villa, are looking to compensate his work by giving him the freedom to decide his future.
The Argentine is having one of the best moments in his career, therefore replacing him if he leaves would be a difficult task. According to the 'Daily Star', there are two names that the board have in mind: High level stars such as Harry Kane and Lautaro Martinez.
Aguero has a contract until June 2021, but the club do not want to be forced to rush into when he leaves. City don't seem to trust Gabriel Jesus, therefore Guardiola will have given the go-ahead for the arrival of the Tottenham star or the Inter Milan player.
He likes the Englishman a lot more, because he has been one of the in-form strikers of the last seasons, although the injuries he has picked up are something negative. Next on the list is Lautaro, but the Inter footballer is one of their best players and City would have to fight, along with Barcelona, to sign him.
A few months are coming up where City seem to be shaking up the market in search of a replacement for the best foreign striker in the history of the Premier League, a position not easy to fill.
