The two coaches were awarded and had to speak at the gala. They analysed last season, in which both team's achieved great things and the City coach joked: "He wants to win the Premier League and I the Champions League. Maybe we can swap trophies".
Klopp revealed that he didn't have a good time when the 'Sky Blues' won the title: "Second by second my hope grew. But each time I saw that Leicester were more tired and I was angry with them. And then Kompany scored from outside the area."
Regarding the Champions League, they have still not got past the Group Stages and it'll take a couple more weeks to figure out who has qualified. In the league, it seems that Liverpool have the best shot at winning the title, as the leaders are nine points above Pep Guardiola's team.
Klopp's team have not yet been defeated so far this season. The continental triumph has given them wings and they are going from strength to strength. In fact, Leicester are above City in the fight to snatch first place in the table.
