Wilson has been on fire of late, with 11 goals and five assists already this season. But the in-form Bournemouth striker is of no interest to West Ham, manager Manuel Pellegrini has announced. "He's a very good striker but the rumours we want him are not true," Pellegrini said of Wilson.
"We have our players. We have Javier Hernandez, we have Lucas Perez, we have Andy Carroll, we have Marko Arnautovic in our squad. I'm happy with all these players."
There had been reports that the Hammers were in the hunt for Wilson, following news that star striker Arnautovic could be on his way to China this January. The club have also been linked with Celta Vigo forward Maxi Gomez, but Pellegrini insists they will not be forced into buying anyone.
"If we don't have Arnautovic? Things can happen, when they happen we'll see," he said.
The Austrian forward has let it be known that he wants a move away from east London, with China the most likely destination. Former Watford striker Odion Ighalo, who himself made the move to the Chinese League, has told 'Sky Sports News' that he believes the move would be good for Arnautovic's career. Whether it materializes, however, remains to be seen.
