Pele: Messi the best in the world

Pele has been asked who is the best football player for him and he answered Messi. He said that there were several good players in the last ten years but the Argentine is definetely "the player who was the most consistent all those years, no doubt".

He also talked about Messi's rival Cristiano Ronaldo and said that he can't compare to him. "Then Cristiano Ronaldo (of Real Madrid) came late but it is different because Messi is the more organised, he scores goals".

The 75-year-old compared the Portuguese to Ronaldo from Brazil. He's obviously a good player as well but not as good as Messi. "He is a good scorer, no doubt, but to me as a player it is Messi".
