Chelsea, which started with Hazard and Higuain on the bench, played a bad first half against a Frankfurt Eintracht who took the lead thanks Luka Jovic, a player who has been making the rounds in European media, as he is one of those "most wanted" youngsters this season.
The Serb scored a gorgeous goal early in the first half. He started the play, opened the wing and headed into the back of the net with a sensational volley. Chelsea were slow to react, but found the draw.
They did so thanks to Pedro, the only player who seems to be performing well in this first half. The Canarian found his way and planted the ball in the net, returning some tranquility to his team.
