Pedro will not play for Chelsea again. His contract has ended and the Spaniard has said goodbye to Chelsea on social media after five seasons at the club.
"After five marvellous years, my time at Chelsea has come to an end. Thanks very much to the board, the coaches and teammates during this time and of course to the fans: thanks for the experience of belonging to your great family. I've been very happy, you've made me feel like at home," the Spanish winger explained.
Pedro said that "it's been a pleasure and an honour to play for this great club and win the Premier League club, the FA Cup and the Europa League, as well as having competed in one of the best leagues in the world."
"I without doubt made the right decision, I take away marvellous and unforgettable memories. New challenges and triumphs will arrive soon," the former Chelsea player added. He will reportedly move to Roma.
"I say goodbye and I'm very satisfied with this part of my career which has come to an end and at the same time very excited about what's to come. Thanks and all the best in the future. Come on 'Blues'," Pedro wrote.
Pedro made 206 appearances for Chelsea in which he scored 44 goals and gave 27 assists. However, his farewell game ended with injury in the FA Cup final v Arsenal.
The Spanish international has reportedly reached an agreement with Roma to play there next season. Serie A will be the third major league Pedro has played in after La Liga and the Premier League.
