Paul Pogba nears Juve exit as he moves out of Turin home

Paul Pogba is living his last moments as a Juventus player. The Frenchman is ready to say goodbye to the Italian giants after recently leaving his house in Turin, which will now be Nico Gonzalez's new home.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the midfielder has left his luxurious mansion for good. Before Pogba, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who reportedly used to live in the villa. Gonzalez will be the new owner after joining Juventus from Fiorentina in the summer.

Exchanging residence is said to be a common practice among footballers of the same club. Pogba's case is not the only one at Juventus, as Dutch international Teun Koopmeiners is said to have inherited Federico Chiesa's house following the latter's departure to join Liverpool. 

Following the Court of Arbitration for Sport's (CAS) decision to reduce his doping ban suspension from four years to 18 months, the midfielder voiced his wish to keep playing for the 'Vecchia Signora' from March, which is when his ban will be lifted. 

"I want to play for Juventus again. I'm ready to reduce my salary to stay. I'm only thinking about training and playing for Juve. I want to prove I'm a great player again," he stated as he spoke to  'La Gazzetta dello Sport'. Nevertheless, the club remained firm in their decision to terminate the player's contract.

"The club's position is very clear. Paul has been a great player, but he has been out for a long time. We have invested in other players and the squad is complete," said Juventus sporting director Giuntoli, as he spoke to 'Sky Sport'. Pogba is currently restricted to a minimum wage of €2000 per month, though he will be back to his multi-million deal should he continue with the 'Bianconeri', which the club have already ruled out. 

The Serie A side are looking for a way to permanently end the player's contract. This will leave Pogba free to join any club as a free agent and be back to competitive football action from March onwards.
