Despite being just 31, Javier Pastore's future does not seem to lie at a Roma who are now planning for next season without the Argentina. He looks set to go to the MLS.
The former Palermo man is not getting the regular game time he needs in the Italian capital and he has not been able to show the quality he possess. He was able to at PSG, for example.
Pastore was at his best at the French club although he could have moved to Atletico Madrid partway through his time at PSG.
"I had a firm offer in 2013 or 2014. I had several chats with Atletico Madrid and I also met with the president. However, I was very well and very comfortable at PSG," the player told 'AS'.
However, despite appreciating the offer, at that time, Pastore only saw himself at the Parc des Princes. "At that moment in time, I thought it was not a good move. I was very happy at my club. I love Spain and Madrid is one of my favourite cities. Spain is a second Argentina," he concluded.
