The Registrar of Companies is alleged to have issued a warning to CPFC 2010 Ltd on tuesday, saying that it will be “struck off the register and the company will be dissolved” in two months “unless cause is shown to the contrary”.
Failing to file your accounts is often a sign of financial trouble within a business, though Palace sources have denied any such problems.
Palace are the only Premier League club to have missed the deadline in submitting their accounts.
No justification for the oversight has been given by the club.
