There are certain players that are considered 'pillars' at Juventus, and as such the club does not want to lose them in the coming transfer window.
One of those is Mario Mandzukic, who currently has a contract with the club until 2020. At 32 years of age a contract extension would usually be unlikely, but it is believed that his current deal with be extended to the summer of 2021.
Another crucial player who Juventus do not want to lose is Rugani. The centre-back is currently contracted until 2021, and the Italian club currently see the defender as a future leader like Chiellini or Bonucci have been. His current deal looks likely to be extended as far as 2023.
Once these renewals have taken place, Juventus will turn their gaze to more ambitious projects, like the signing of new players.
