All three of the flights were organised by Worldchoice Holidays of Widnes with the package holiday company having booked to take almost 1,000 supporters to the Ukrainian capital.
The rescheduled flight has a capacity of 343, and is expected to be at 90 per cent full. According to a company spokesperson, they will strive to offer full refunds to fans who are unable to travel as soon as possible.
Managing director Shay Soni told 'Sky Sports News': ''It has been an administrative nightmare. Over the last 48 hours I have gone to hell and back, I have gone to the ends of the earth to try and get these flights going.''
Soni noted that communication with the Ukrainian airport has been dire: ''We have major issues with getting slots at Kiev airport even though we put in for the time slots at the right time.''
In an attempt to resolve the situation as time grows increasingly short, the Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson has been in contact with Vitali Klitschko, the former boxer and Mayor of Kiev.
