This Wednesday, Galatasaray had a great surprise in its facilities and an injection of strength after receiving a visit from Omar Elabdellaoui.
The footballer had to be admitted to a hospital in Turkey after having an accident with fireworks on New Year's Eve. The Galatasaray player suffered from severe burns on his hands and eyes.
There was even fear for the Norwegian's vision, but it was later learned that he was not in danger and has now left the hospital. The player has been in hospital for 18 days, according to 'AS'. AS has also indicated that he was released from hospital on Monday.
During his visit, Omar Elabdellaoui was embraced by captain Arda Turán and received the affection of all his teammates, who are playing against Denizlispor this Wednesday.
"I am receiving excellent and professional medical care. We are making progress every day. I will come back stronger," said Omar Elabdellaoui.
