Demir already interested Monchi, Sevilla sporting director, a year ago, but it has been Barcelona the one to sign one of Turkey's biggest talents.
Barcelona announced this Thursday that a deal has been agreed with Kayserispor for the signing of the 18-year-old winger.
Emre Demir can play on both wings and ended up last season with two goals and an assist in 15 games.
Barcelona trusts the young player to improve, and that is why he has signed with the Catalonian giants until the 30th June 2027.
Barcelona has also set a high release clause, so whoever wants to sign the Turkish wonderkid would have to pay 400 million euros.
The winger will stay at Kayserispor until the end of the season to then join Barcelona B. In theory, he signed to play on the second team however, he could be joining the first team really soon.
