OFFICIAL: Wolves strengthen defence with Jackson Tchatchoua signing from Verona

Wolverhampton Wanderers have strengthened their squad with the signing of Jackson Tchatchoua from Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona. The Belgian-born defender has signed a five-year contract with the option of a further year.
Tchatchoua stood out last season as the fastest player in Serie A, raising expectations about his contribution to the English side. The 23-year-old began his professional career at Charleroi in Belgium, where he made his debut as a wing-back while still a teenager.
During his early years, he demonstrated great versatility and an ability to assist his teammates on both wings. His first goal in the top flight came against Genk playing on the right, while his second came on the left against RFC Seraing, showcasing his speed and adaptability.
In his second season with Charleroi, Tchatchoua decided to represent the Cameroon national team. After making his debut with the U23 team, he made the leap to the senior team in June 2024 during the World Cup qualifiers against Cape Verde.
